INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN PRIJEDOR - ALDA marked 15 years of experience and presece in the Wester

On 9 June, 2015 City of Prijedor from the Republic of Srpska hosted the International conference „Promoting citizen participation in democratic local policy making in Western Balkans.

This conference was held in the framework of the project DECIDE – Democratic Compact: Improving Democracy in Europe, which promotes citizen participation in public life and in the decision making process at the local level. The key European and local stakeholders gathered together and assesed the achievements and challenges ahead in the EU integration process in Western Balkans. The conference launched the final three day activity of the project DECIDE which was funded by the Europe for Citizens Program, and led by ALDA - the European Association for Local Democracy
