Representation Supports Invest Srpska 2024 Forum
The Republic of Srpska Representation in Brussels played a supporting role in the success of Invest Srpska 2024 by actively promoting the event to its network of contacts within the Benelux countries. Their efforts helped raise awareness about the investment forum and attracted potential investors from this economically influential region.
Held on November 12 and 13 in the scenic mountain resort of Jahorina, the forum brought together global investors, high-ranking officials, and business leaders to explore Republic of Srpska as a thriving investment destination.
The event welcomed representatives from 87 foreign companies across 29 countries, including major economic players such as Japan, the United States, China, India, the UAE, and Angola. Additionally, over 100 domestic companies participated, creating a platform for international collaboration and showcasing Srpska's diverse investment opportunities.
"The presence of participants from five continents is a clear signal of the growing global interest in The Republic of Srpska as an investment destination," said Zoran Talić, Director of the Department for the Promotion of Foreign Investments at IRBRS.
The forum featured notable attendees, including the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, and Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó. Their participation highlighted the strategic importance of the forum in fostering economic growth and strengthening partnerships with international stakeholders.
Additionally, Three panel discussions addressed critical topics such as energy transition, infrastructure development, and investment opportunities across industries. These panels provided valuable insights and facilitated dialogue between investors and policymakers, laying the groundwork for future partnerships.
The Representation of Republic of Srpska in Brussels contributed to the forum’s success by reaching out to potential investors from Benelux countries, leveraging its well-established network to spread the word about the event. This outreach underscored Srpska's strategic approach to attracting investments from regions with significant economic influence.
